Recreation Registration Software

Just wondering what the experience has been for other municipalities who are in the process of changing recreation registration software. I heard there was a big contract signed with PM....what has everyone's experience been so far?

I am wondering which city or municipal is currently using ActiveNet? Is there any forum or meeting in the future to share experience working with Active?

Hi Everyone, We have been doing online registration for at least 8 years and when we started we went with a 12:01am on Sunday (Saturday night at midnight). We have multiple rationales for why we do this and more than 50% of our registration day revenue comes from online doesn't prove that it is working. We have individuals that we need to educate about our rationales all the time and currently our council has requested that we revisit.

Can you tell me what you do to manage online registration, phone/in person registration to meet your communities needs?

Active Network owns three recreation software programs:  Class; Safari and ActiveNet.  Active Network will no longer support Safari after 2015 and Class after November 2017, thereby leaving only one product on the market: ActiveNet.  The majority of municipal recreation departments in BC currently use one or the other of these soon-to-be-defunct programs. The impact of this on municipalities is great as they all search other viable options.
